These Riders Of Rohan were one of the earliest castings produced by Games Workshop, in the Lord Of The Rings and Middle Earth Lines. Originally, these came in a set of six (6). This lot includes two (2) sets, which is twelve (12) riders total. This set was purchased as part of a larger group of miniatures. They are not pristine, have some damage, and most pieces have been glued, painted, or both. Therefore, that is why you will only find them here in our Garage Sale section.
All figures have been detached from the sprue. They all seem to have been primed, and several have been painted. The paint is an older Citadel paint, which will break down with alcohol for repaint, if desired.
All horse pieces have been glued together, and some riders and accessories have been glued together as well.
There is one extra base, but one grass tuft has been lost. There are a few pieces that show damage. As seen in the pictures, one horse has a broken tail, and one axe is detached from the hand. Both finished figures, have been damaged. One has broken from it's base. And the other is almost broken away from it's base. Although there is two kits, these will be sold as one unit.
They are priced to sell. Much lower than purchasing two new kits. The best part is, the pieces that do not have paint on them have already been primed.
